Feast Day: July 29
Sign of the Cross
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartfully sorry for having offended thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishment, but most of all because I have offended Thee my God, Who is all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
Prayer to Divine Jesus
O Divine Jesus, Thou hast promised that anything we ask of the Eternal Father in Thy name shall be granted. O Eternal Father, In the name of Jesus, for the love of Jesus, in fulfillment of this promise, and because Jesus has said it, grant us our petitions for the sake of Jesus, Thy Divine Son.
Prayer to the honor Jesus our Friend and Savior
Humbly we come to you, O Jesus, our Friend and Savior, to ask you for forgiveness for our sins, as we have not recognized you in our brothers. All Honor and Glory are Yours, our almighty and eternal God. Your heart is filled with Mercy, which by means of your Precious Blood, has redeemed our sins. Thank you Lord Jesus for Your Love and Mercy, for Your Passion and Death on the Cross and thank You for Your Triumphant Resurrection. AMEN
Jesus our Friend and Savior, help us
Come quick Lord, come help us with Your Power. Be our strength, in which we can hide during this difficult time. Be our shield and fight for us, Lord, so won’t remain defeated under the weight of these problems. Let us feel, Lord, Your embrace as Father and Your hand as Friend. At Your feet we offer our anguish and we hope to receive Your solution and relief. Console us Lord, as You have promised to those who come to You with their burdens and their sadness. Jesus our Friend and Savior, we Trust in You. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
O Jesus! Thou art my true Friend, my only Friend. Thou doth take a part in all my misfortunes; Thou doth take them on Thyself; thou doth know how to change them into blessings. Thou doth listen to me with the greatest kindness when I relate my troubles to Thee, and thou hast always balm to pour on my wounds. I find Thee at all times; I find Thee everywhere; Thou never goest away; if I have to change my dwelling, I find Thee wherever I go.
Thou art never weary of listening to me; Thou art never tired of doing me good. I am certain of being beloved by Thee if I love Thee; my goods are nothing to Thee and by bestowing Thine on me, Thou never growest poor. However miserable I may be, no one more noble or learned or even holier can come between Thee and me, and deprive me of Thy friendship; and death which tears us away from all other friends, will unite me forever to Thee.
All the humiliations attached to old age or to the loss of honor, will never detach Thee from me. On the contrary, I shall never enjoy Thee more fully, and Thou will never be closer to me than when everything seems to conspire against me, to overwhelm me and to cast me down. Thou doth bear with all my faults with extreme patience.
Even my want of fidelity and my ingratitude do not wound Thee to such a degree as to make Thee unwilling to receive me back when I return to Thee.
O Jesus! Grant that I may die praising Thee, that I may die loving Thee, that I may die for the love of Thee. Amen.

Prayer to ask for Love
Your name is Love, Lord Jesus. When you were nailed to the Cross, you’ve shown the world how much You loved it; Without looking for the honor you deserve, without demanding to be served; You have clothed Your people with honor, the beloved of Your Heart, and You’ve become it’s Servant.
Loved you’ve washed his feet; you’ve healed its wounds, forgave his sins and shared bread with him. Without asking anything, you offered even Your own Body and Blood, till the last drop. There cannot be a Love greater than You, Jesus Christ!
Now Lord, come to my assistance. Purify my heart of egoism and fill it with true love; the love that is ready to die for others, day by day, drop after drop; the love that is ready to serve and to render all without asking anything in return.
O Lord, raise in my heart that same love, in every member of my family and let it spread across the entire world.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
You are Christ
You are Christ, my Holy Father, my Tender God, my Great King, my Good Shepherd, my Only Master, my Best Helper, my Most Beautiful and my Beloved, my Living Bread, my Priest Forever, my Leader to my Country, my True Light, my Holy Sweetness, my Straight Way, my Excellent Wisdom, my Pure Simplicity, my Peaceful Harmony, my Entire Protection, my Good Portion, my Everlasting Salvation.
Christ Jesus, Sweet Lord, why have I ever loved, why in my whole life have I ever desired anything except You, Jesus my God? Where was I when I was not in spirit with You? Now, from this time forth, do you, all my desires, grow hot, and flow out upon the Lord Jesus: run . . . you have been tardy until now; hasten where you are going; seek Whom you are seeking. O, Jesus may he who loves You not be an anathema; may he who loves You not be filled with bitterness.
O, Sweet Jesus, may every good feeling that is fitted for Your praise, love You, delight in You, adore You! God of my heart, and my Portion, Christ Jesus, may my heart faint away in spirit, and may You be my Life within me! May the live coal of Your Love grow hot within my spirit and break forth into a perfect fire; may it burn incessantly on the altar of my heart; may it glow in my innermost being; may it blaze in hidden recesses of my soul; and in the days of my consummation may I be found consummated with You! Amen.

Jesus, Help Me!
In every need let me come to Thee with humble trust, saying, Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations, Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials, Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles and sorrows, Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good come from my efforts, Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Thy grace alone can assist me, Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Thy tender love as Father and Savior, Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me, Jesus, help me!
When sickness and loneliness overcome me, Jesus, help me!
Always, in weakness, falls and shortcomings of every kind, Jesus, help me!
and never forsake me.
Soul of Christ, make me holy. Body of Christ, be my salvation. Blood of Christ, let me drink your wine
Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me clean. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. Kind Jesus, hear my prayer. Hide me within your wounds and keep me close to you. Defend me from the evil enemy and call me at the hour of my death to the fellowship of your saints. That I might sing your praise with them
for all eternity. Amen.
